Note from D.C. Hemy proposing a standard charge of 6d. per employee and the method of calculation used to determine the charge. With annotations.

Research comments: This document details how quickly LEO I can calculate an employee's wages each week (2.515 seconds) and therefore how much it costs per employee to calculate wages (6d). This 6d includes the cost of the punched cards for each employee (0.3d), the time taken to perforate the payslips (0.3 minutes) and the pre-printed payslips (0.18d). (LM)
