We will be hosting a series of four player, one console, one screen deathmatches to ultimately crown the winner - out of a total of 64 possible players. You may bring your own unmodified Nintendo-branded controller, which will be subject to inspection.

Our compères for the evening will be GoldenEye lead developer Martin Hollis and character artist Brett Jones!

The tournament winner will walk away with the coveted Golden Gun as recognition for their elite GoldenEye skills.

We'll be employing the standard ruleset for GoldenEye tournaments:

  • Preliminaries stages: Weapons and Levels randomised
  • Tournament stages: Automatics and a chosen level: Bunker-Facility-Archive
  • Time limit for rounds: Most kills in ten minutes
  • Radar ON

  • Auto-aim OFF - as voted by our Twitter poll of over 300 votes!

For participants: on arrival at the museum you will be given a round number and a colour.  Four players of the same colour square off against each other with the winner going through to the semi-finals in the evening.  The first round of preliminaries starts at 11am, with round two at 12pm, round three at 2pm and round four starting at 3pm.

ALL Entrants need to be present from 11am. Late arrivals may be disqualified.

The evening tournaments will run from 7pm-11pm.
