68674 Integrated Circuit Board

Description of Photograph

Close-up photograph of an early integrated circuit board.

Research comments: The chip itself is in the centre and you can see the tiny wires connecting it to the chip pins around the edge. This is certainly not from a LEO, which never used ICs but discrete transistor designs. (John Page, former LEO engineer)

Provenance
Collected by Peter Bird as part of his research for his book LEO - The First Business Computer (1994).

Date: Undated

Physical Description: 1 photographic print; black and white
