Description :

Have you ever wanted to start coding with some fun applications?
Join us for a great introduction into coding using a really simple interface and the versatile Micro:bit.

The session will contain four activities each and introduce key coding concepts such as logic, inputs, and wireless communications.  Along the way we will work through the code to understand exactly how it works.
No previous experience is required, just an interest in making tech do cool things!

The session is aimed at children aged between 8 and 11 and is ideal for Key Stage 2 and early Key Stage 3 students.  Please note that this is a beginner's workshop and provides a great introduction to the micro:bit.

The fee is £17 per participant in this workshop. For participants under the age of 14, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £10.
