Citrix support

“Citrix is proud to enter into partnership with the Centre for Computing History, as part of our global corporate citizenship programme.

Getting children interested in STEM and the tech industry at a young age is one good way of taking steps to address the digital skills gap – as well as tackling the myth amongst young people and their parents that STEM topics are 'just for boys'. We think that the tech industry also has a responsibility to show all children why tech is fun - and foster interest and curiosity about all things digital."

Citrix, supporting visits to The Centre for Computing History

We have joined forces with multinational tech company Citrix to bring the experience of visiting The Centre for Computing History to even greater numbers of students. Over three years, this partnership will support 10,000 students by guaranteeing access to practical hands-on workshops that are an integral part of the visit to explore the heritage of Computing.

Reducing the cost of your visit

We know how much those that have visited us over the past few years have valued the workshops as part of their visit.  We also know just how much pressure there is to keep the costs of education visits as low as possible.

The support from Citrix will allow us to discount the cost of your visit by £4 per student whilst still enjoying our day visit programme that includes a workshop.

How is the Citrix discount arranged?

Schools and Colleges visiting The Centre for Computing History for a full Educational Visit as described in our website, are charged depending upon the size of the group of students that attend.

Our charges are in four bands:
