Volunteer Graphic Designer

We regularly put on new and exciting events but we need exciting graphics to represent them! Much of the work so far has been done in house by staff and volunteers who have minimal design skills, but as we gain a higher profile we need to raise our game in the way we represent our events.

We are looking for a volunteer graphic designer that can create clean, fresh and impacting graphics to represent our exhibitions and events.

The graphics will be used mostly online, sometimes in print and occasionally in large format print.

We have been lucky enough to have a volunteer graphic designer in the past who kindly this look and feel for us - www.sumr.co.uk - which we are very happy with. If you are able to create similar clean and fresh graphics, we'd love to talk to you.

Our immediate requirements are for :

Can you help?

Requirements

Just the ability to create fresh and impacting graphics!

Come and Join the Team!

We are a relaxed and welcoming team. The working atmosphere is fun, relaxed but professional. Tea and coffee is available for free from our 'Pac Lunch Shop' and as a volunteer you are welcome to all of our special events for free.

Logistics

It would be great if you could come and meet us in person, but it is not essential. We can work via online sharing services and can communicate via email, phone, teams or zoom.

Time

We are open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, every week throughout the year and every day in most school holidays.

Times are flexible though, especially for remote work. The amount of time you can offer us is entirely up to you, and it need not be the same each week. All we ask is that you let us know in advance.

How to Apply

As with all of our volunteer roles, if you are interested in volunteering your time and playing a vital part in our museum, email us with your details, what role you'd like to apply for and what makes you ideal for this role.

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you ...
