Microsoft releases Windows 7

Windows 7 was a release of Microsoft's Windows operating system. The successor to Windows Vista, Windows Vista provided new features including a redesigned taskbar, improved performance, and updated versions of applications such as Internet Explorer 8, Windows Media Player, and Windows Media Center.

Microsoft released Windows 7 on 22nd October 2009.
