The Sound Blaster 16 is a sound card released by Creative Technology as the successor to the Sound Blaster Pro. It became one of the most popular and influential sound cards of its era, setting the standard for PC audio throughout the 1990s and introducing 16-bit audio sampling to the range of Sound Blaster cards.

The Sound Blaster 16 Value Edition is a budget version of the of the original Sound Blaster 16 sound card, offering most of the essential features at a lower cost.
