80 Programs including Draughts!

Foreword by John Galt:

This is a curious and interesting book - and I wish I had had it when I first bought my Acorn Atom. While at first sight it appears to be a book which simply tells you how to write and develop game programs on the Atom -- and gives a host of great games ideas and listings in the process -- closer inspection reveals that following through the explanation given for each game will teach you quite a bit... I would have saved myself hours of frustration if Trevor and Tim had written this book before I got my Atom... If I'd had this volume, I'd still be sane, and would have mastered the computer much more easily -- and with far less pain -- than I did.
