The Brunsviga 11E electro-mechanical calculator was the successor to the Brunsviga 10, which had a mechanical, stepped drum mechanism. The 11E, which was released around 1952, has an additional register, bringing it to an 11-digit register. The E represents the electric motor that was a new addition to the calculator.
