The Cambridge Multiple-Access System runs on the Titan computer (prototype Atlas 2) in the University Mathematical Laboratory, Cambridge, and also on the Atlas 2 computer at the Mintech Atlas Centre, Madingley Road, Cambridge. The Cambridge multiple-access system allows authorised users to have access to the system either on line from a console on or off line, via punched paper tape or cards, in the more conventional manner.

We are extremely grateful to both Dawn and Kim Wakefield for the kind donation of the collection of their late father Richard Wakefield.
