This package contains one cassette with the following programs:

  • Vectors
  • Patterns with Symmetry

The package also contains a Teacher's Handbook with operating instructions, hints on program use, suggested teaching strategies and reproducible worksheets, and Command Cards giving summaries of the commands used in the programs.

The programs are:

  • ideal for introducing the ideas of vectors and rotational and reflectional symmetry in the 11-14 age range
  • suitable for older pupils as revision aids
  • easy, and enjoyable, to use
  • supplemented by full teaching notes and reproducible worksheets
  • prepared by practising teachers for use in normal mathematics lessons
