The Sega 32x is an add-on for the Sega Mega Drive. It expands the system's processing power with two 32-bit processors and a 3D graphics processor. It had its own ROM cartridges and collection of games. The 32x was intended to be a low-cost 32-bit console while Sega worked on the Saturn, but its rushed release and small game collection led to it being a commercial failure.

Our 32x has serial number 041000836.
