This was the game of the hit film Aliens, where Marines and scientists must do battle with near indestructible Xenomorphs, which will also kill on sight. The game takes a first person view, and the player must move from room to room, to find and eliminate the Alien queen. The player like in the film has heavy weaponry, and sensors to warn of an impending attack. If this sounds, the player has a short time to track an alien in the room, and kill it, before it turns and races to attack the player. There are six lives for the player, one for each of the characters from the film, each one has slightly different reactions and stamina. When all six characters are gone, the Aliens will take over the base and it is game over.
