The Radica Mega Drive was released by Radica Games Ltd (now owned by Mattel) in 2003. It duplicates a Sega Mega Drive in a single-chip package and features six rereleased Mega Drive games. A single joypad controller and composite output lead are hardwired. The 6V power supply can be provided either by AA batteries or through an external DC converter (not supplied).

The first version of the Radica came with six games:

  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Altered Beast
  • Golden Axe
  • Kid Chameleon
  • Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
  • Flicky
