The sequel to the 1995 classic and Rayman's first 3D game. Rayman's world is invaded by robo-pirates. His best friend Globox and most of the inhabitants have been captured. It is up to Rayman to free his comrades, defeat the robo-pirates and their ruthless commander Razorbeard and bring peace to the land. The game plays like many other 3D platformers of the time, the Dreamcast version has the same high quality textures as seen in the PC release but also allows for widescreen and manual aspect ratio change. A few more enemy variants as well as some new cutscenes. The definitive version of the game until the release of the remaster (Rayman Revolution) for the Playstation 2.
