The A3K2 is a styled housing providing the means for adding up to two additional floppy drives (2 x 3.5-inch or 1 x 5.25-inch), and a Winchester hard disc drive. All these can be added without having separate boxes hanging from the computer on ribbon cables. A3K3 is supplied with a high spec power supply with all the necessary sockets for peripherals.
