Take control of the Sleek Cobra MkIII and experience the ultimate space challenge. Visit other galaxies trading with new and diverse lifeforms, or pursue the highly dangerous career of bounty hunter and try to survive long enough to get paid. Elite Plus, an all-time classic! Elite is the classic space trading combat title, and an early example of a sandbox game, in that the player can decide how they want to play it. Some would concentrate on the trading of goods between planets, while others would divert funds to increase the shields and weapons on the craft to take on the Space Pirates for their bounty. Although the game is much the same as the earlier versions, the advancements of the PC format meant the game was fast and smooth, and with 256 colours, one of the programmers for this version was Chris Sawyer, who was best known as the creator of the Transport and Rollercoaster Tycoon. There was also a new story called Imprint, written by Andy Redman, which formed the second half of the manual.
