Another entry in the Bomberman series of games for the Game Boy Advance with a single player mode and a multiplayer mode that could only be played by linking up for 4 Game Boy Advances together with a Link Cable. The single player portion of the game is a Quest Mode, which has Bomberman navigate through large open areas using bombs and power ups to defeat enemies to progress. Bomberman will also be able to collect Karabons, creatures that will aid him in his quest, of which there are 25, that can be used in turn-based fights throughout Quest Mode. The multiplayer mode of Bomberman Tournament is a Battle Mode, which allows up to 4 players (Computer Controlled or Human) to compete to be the last Bomberman standing, planting bombs in attempts to trap and blow up the opposing players.
