The Minor Miracles WS2000 modem was a low-cost, multi-speed, multi-standard modem. It enabled a computer to connect to online services such as Viewdata or Telex via a telephone line.

The WS2000 was designed and manufactured in England by Miracle Technology (UK) Ltd, based in Ipswich, UK.

The WS2000 has LED indicators on the front panel for:

  • Power On
  • Tx (transmitted) Data
  • Data Carrier Detected

The large knob on the right is used to select the mode of operation.

The top rotary switch selects whether the modem is set for Viewtext or for other services such as Bulletin Boards or Easylink Telex.
