The Macro-I is a mains-powered, four-function, desktop electronic calculator. It is model number 8K with a serial number of 2437.

According to one of our visitors, this was the first calculator used officially in O Level Mathematics examinations for the Oxford Local Board, and perhaps for the whole country. A separate small desk was provided for students to put their calculator on as it took up so much space.
