Virtual LEO makes history again

8th November 2019

Today we were incredibly honoured to have three people who worked on LEO I with us at CCH; Ray Shaw, Frank Land and Alan Jacobs. It was a special moment when they saw our prototype virtual LEO and even more so when Frank and Alan donned the Occulus headset and wandered around the LEO of their memories.

Accompanying the LEO pioneers were several other members of the LEO Computers Society and their families. Amongst the really useful feedback from them all was this gem about our virtual LEO: "But your LEO is far too tidy and uncluttered to be like the real thing"!

Note to self: must add some general clutter to the virtual 'calculator room' to make LEO feel 'lived in'.

The photo shows 91 year old Frank Land OBE wearing the headset and visiting the virtual LEO I.
