NHS and Careworkers BIG Gaming Night - TBA
It's a really difficult time for everyone. The museum is working hard to raise funds to see it through the Coronavirus lockdown, but really it wants to be supporting our frontline NHS staff and careworkers. But we can't ... yet!
We'd love to do something for these amazing people that says thanks from the bottom of our hearts, but all we have to offer is our museum, which itself is closed to prevent the further spread of coronavirus.
But we COULD do something when we're all through this!! In fact, we WILL do this!! It's the perfect time! If we did it now, it would a) be wrong and b) no-one would have the energy or inclination to come along anyway! But if we plan something for when it is completely safe to do so after the lockdown has been lifted, our wonderful NHS staff will hopefully have the time to take a breath and let their hair down! So that's what we're going to do.
We know it's early days, but we're announcing this now so people can book their place and we can gauge how many nights we'll need to put on! There's no limit! If 500 people book we'll put on as many nights as we need to! We promise! It's the very least we can do to show our appreciation.
Book now and we'll contact you to announce dates when the time is right! At least one person with the family must be NHS staff or a Careworker.
These special evenings will run from 7pm until 11pm.
All our usual gaming displays will be on and we'll have loads of extra consoles and games out from our collection for you to enjoy. Join us for a great fun night out and special thank you from our staff and volunteers!
If you're not an NHS or a Care worker, you can help us say thank you by chipping in and buying them a pizza or drink for the evening! Use the booking form above and you can help us make the night all the more special for them :) < Buy A Drink or Pizza Here >
Thank You NHS!
We can't wait to say this in person ... when it's completely safe to do so and when you're less stressed.
Remember - All proceeds go to support our Computing Museum!
