Digital copy of a photograph of the display on the LEO I console.

Caption: 'The display tubes on the console. Notice the bottom tube that allowed the entire store to be examined, 16 words at a time. '

This image appears in the interactive plan for our Virtual LEO I installation, p71.

 

Research comments: This photograph shows part of the engineer's console. The display tubes are cathode ray tubes. Underneath the lower display the word 'STORE' can been seen and the upper right hand side tube says 'MULTIPLIER'. The three dials in the centre are labelled A, B and C. (LM)
