Photocopy of a paper by Ernest Lenaerts - Field Research Report on the Samastronic Printer, circulated to LEO staff on 19th Feb 1962.  
Lenaerts sent the paper to Peter Bird in response to a research query, and Peter Bird kept the letters with the report in the file, along with a printed output from the Samastronic printer, as annotated by Lenaerts (undated).

Provenance :
The photocopies were originally requested by Peter Bird, as part of his research for LEO - The First Business Computer, and later donated to the NAHC, then transferred to CCH at the request of the LEO Computers Society for inclusion in their archive. The original file is still held with the Ernest Lenaerts papers at the University of Manchester Library, ref. GB 133 EHL/9.
