Storytelling and Interactive Tour
|
Description : The Centre for Computing History is delighted to announce six reduced ticket entry Family Activity Days at the museum. This has been made possible with funding from Cambridge City Council. The first activity is a Storytelling and Interactive Tour of the museum for the whole family to enjoy. Expect a small group tour where you will have the space to ask any questions, learn more about technology and have the chance to engage with our entire collection! We hope to allow low income families in Cambridge to access their local history, support wellbeing, and build confidence and skills. We are planning six hands-on workshops with differentiated activities, allowing participation irrespective of age and skill level. Workshops will include: Micro:Bit and BBC Basic coding, Computing History Discovery Boxes, and a new Team Repair electronics workshop. Free refreshments will be offered across our summer holiday workshop series and families will be invited to spend the whole day at the museum. We will provide information about other free or low-cost cultural opportunities in Cambridge too! Remember - All proceeds go to support our Computing Museum! |
