Claimed at the time to be the world’s smallest radio, the Micromatic could be bought whole, or as a kit. it was released in 1967, and was sold until mid 1971, albeit with increased reliability from new components.

 The Sinclair Micromatic was also licensed to other companies such as Prinztronic and The Layton Bros, who produced their own versions.

The Micromatic sold well and can still be found relatively easily by collectors today.
