An expansion for the base game Dynasty Warriors 3. It included new stages with new location names, most of which are time swaps of their original counterparts, and different scenarios in each. These stages are found in the Xtreme selection while the classic stages are found in the Original selection, which wereonly selectable after loading the original data. It also included a brand new "Novice" difficulty and it made the "Very hard" difficulty available from the beginning of the game.
