The Countries of the World is a suite of interactive maps covdering every country of the world, for use with products in the KEY range. This maps on the disc have been prepared from the extensive vector mapping information held by mapmakers Bartholomew. Just as with all computer based vector mapping systems, the data ids held in layers, enabling features to be turned on and off as required. Students can access the level of map data appropriate to a presentation, as well as plotting data from within a data file. The projection used is Equirectangulasr. The KEY family has been designed to accomodate other map projections. The countries of the world have been grouped as logically as possible, balancing scale against computer memory. The disc requires the data hndling system KEY PLUS or KEYNOTE, or the spreadsheet KEY CALC
