Castles is as comprehensive learning resource on CD ROM designed to meet the needs of teachers and students exploring this exciting and popular topic.

Included is an interactive multimedia application giving information about different types of castles, how they were built, where and when. Users are able to tour a real medieval castle as if they were there, accessing reconstructions of the rooms. They can go back to 1322 and, with the help of guides from the past, discover the politic of afrontline castle in a troubled area. 

Castles runs on computers in the Acorn Archimeded range with a minimum of 4Mb RAM and a CD ROM drive.
