Description : Who needs an expensive fitness gadget when we have the micro:bit! In this activity we'll be turning the micro:bit into a personal trainer. Count the number of steps you've taken or design your exercise routine using this tiny device. Come and find out how you can code this device to become your fitness assistant! This workshop is aimed at children aged 9 years and older and is ideal for children at the upper KS2 and KS3 levels. This workshop session is priced at £25.50 and includes the admission price of 1 child with an accompanying adult to the museum. For participants aged 14 or under, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Date: Monday 27 July 2026 Please note that we will be using our classroom kits for the session and you will not be able to take these away at the end. We will however have micro:bit kits available for sale in our shop to purchase. This workshop will start at 11 am promptly, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Spaces for these exciting hands-on events are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place. Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket. Cancellations: Due to the limited number of places available for this event, we are unable to refund tickets when cancelled less than 7 days before the event.
