This is a major revision of SC28-1380-2 and Technical Newsletter SN28-5067. See the Summary of Changes
following the Contents for a summary of the changes made to this manual. Technical changes or additions

This edition applies to TSO Extensions Release 4, program number 5665-285, and to all subsequent releases
until otherwise indicated in new editions or Technical Newsletters. The previous edition still applies to TSO
Extensions Release 3 and may be ordered using the temporary order number STOO-2420. Changes are made
periodically to the information herein; before using this publication in connection with the operation of IBM
systems, consult the latest IBM Systemf370 Bibliography' GC20-0001, for the editions that are applicable and
