"This book provides the information necessary todefine and generate an emulation programfor the IBM3705 Communications Controller. The emulation programallows a 3705 to perform most of the functions of an IBM 2701 Data Adapter Unit, an IBM 2702 Transmission Control Unit, an IBM 2703 Transmission Control Unit, orany combination of the three. This book applies only to theEmulation Program/3705 (Program Product 5735-XXB). It does not apply to the partitioned emulation program (PEP); PEP is discussed in the ACF/NCP-SSP Installation andResource Definition Guide.
