The PDP-8 is widely considered to be the first commercial minicomputer. It was a 12-bit computer with 4k words of RAM. There were several versions of the PDP-8 the first being launched on March 22, 1965 which sold for between $10,000 and $18,000 depending on the configuration.

The version is this collection is the PDP-8/e which was released in 1971 and featured a new bus structure called the omnibus.
