Element 14 Lapel Badge

e14 boxed lapel pin which was given to Acorn employees when Acorn Computers rebranded itself as Element 14 in January 1999.

Following its rebranding it focused on becoming a developer of software and silicon intellectual property (IP). The company's name referred to silicon, which has an atomic number of 14 on the periodic table. Element 14 was acquired by Broadcom in late 2000.
