A440/1
The third model Acorn launched in July 1989 was the A440/1. It not only had 4MB RAM, but also a 53MB ST506 hard disc.
This series was functionally identical to the 400 series but featured a newer memory controller the MEMC1a that gave it a slightly faster speed. It also came with a 53 Megabyte hard drive in the higher end models that came with HD's rather than the 400 series's 20 Meg one.

8 MHz RAM.
512k OS in ROM.
