The Original Monimals - Fun Wear for Computers

Monimals were fun fluffy covers for CRT monitors with animal designs. The accompanying disks contained matching screensavers. We have one disk for Windows 3.11+, and another for Windows 95/NT. We presume each monitor cover sold came with both disks.

On install, aptly named 'Monimals Softwear Installation', you select whether to install with or without sound, and which animal screensaver to install of a choice of sheep, moose, cow, or lion. To choose a different animal, you will need to re-install the screensaver. After a short time, the face image will be replaced with a more typical screensaver - in the case of sheep, it's a series of sheep jumping over a fence. The credits state that it is made with Macromedia.

We hold the disks only.

Very little information about Monimals remains online. Some is sourced from Visual Impact's website as it was in 2000 via the WayBack Machine. (Screenshot)
