Produced by International Computers and Tabulators, this is a programming manual for the Atlas 1 computer based at the University of Manchester.

The computer was considered one of the most powerful computers in the world at the time when it was switched on in 1962. This manual is a revised edition released in January 1965.

Ferranti would build a similar machine in Cambridge called the Titan or Atlas II

The manual was donated by Louise Townsend, in memory of her Uncle Ernie B. Upton
