'This document describes some basic NJE concepts and the protocols involved.  The information contained herein is from NJE Formats and Protocols GG22-9373 which can be referenced for further details.

This material originally came from a presentation given by Dave Stamper, from the IBM Data Systems Division Poughkeepsie Programming Center at SHARE 60 in March 1980. It has been updated considerably since then and was given at SHARE 65 in August 1985.'
