Things are tough right now ...

They're tough for everyone :( But when coronavirus hit here in the UK, the museum had to close its doors to the public, and we lost practically all our income overnight.

Please Donate Via Just GivingNo visitors, no workshops, no events, no school visits... no income. We know that things are tough for everyone right now, but if you can afford to help us through these tough times please donate what you can.

Stay safe, stay at home! There's over 36,000 exhibits here! That should keep you occupied for a bit - get searching!

Amstrad DDI-1 Disc Drive & Interface User Instructions

Reference JAANPDA01A from 1964

DDI-1: a set consisting of the real DDI-1 (= Disk Drive Interface) and a FD-1 3" disk drive, as well as the CP/M 2.2 license and disk.

The Amstrad CPC464 lacked the disc controller hardware and the software to use a disc drive. To use discs on an Amstrad CPC464 the most compatible interface is the DDI-1 (this includes AMSDOS ROM). Normally this interface came with one FD-1 3" disc drive.

Our User Instructions were kindly donated by David Cantrell
