Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak go into business making 'Blue Boxes' - a device that sends audible tones down the phone lines intended to 'freak out' the telephone network equipment. Often the tones could be made to allow free phone calls and international calls.

'Phone Freaking' as it was then known was popularised by John Draper - an individual that both Steves knew well.
