This is the sequel to Lords of Midnight, and is an RPG strategy game, and is far more complex than the previous title, adding far more charactersand more locations.

Doomdark himself was killed in the first game, and does not appear in this sequel, this time the hero Luxor the Moonprince, who is trying to rescue his son, while taking on his daughter, the Empress Shareth.

The game was a great success like it's predecessor, the third game in the trilogy, The Eye of the Moon was never finished.
