Cray Mathlib - Mathematical Subroutine Library

Cray Applications Software

The Cray library MATHLIB is a collection of mathematical subroutines which are in the public domain. The library is divided into six functional categories as follows:

  1. Linear systems
  2. Fast Fourier transforms
  3. Interpolation and approximation
  4. Special functions
  5. Statistics
  6. Integration and differentiation

This library is not intended to be a complete mathematical subroutine library, but rather a collection of routines which have been developed by users of Cray Supercomputers and which may not be available in other mathematical libraries. The anticipated use of this library is as a supplement to a more complete math library.
