This speech synthesizer connects to the Commodore VIC-20. It uses Allophones (parts of speech) to construct words or sounds and does not rely on a fixed vocabulary of words. A series of software routines are incorporated in EPROM to allow an extremely flexible method of word construction which is both easy to learn and use.
