Bletchley park officially opens to the public

On Wednesday, 18th of June, 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge visited Bletchley Park's heritage and education site to mark the completion of the year-long restoration project. The site was restored to its World War II appearance and includes a new Visitor Centre and interactive displays.

Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire was Britain's main decryption establishment during World War Two. Ciphers and codes of several Axis countries were decrypted including, most importantly, those generated by the German Enigma and Lorenz machines.
