This manual discusses some of the major aspects of a
Remote Multistation Terminalo The primary purpose is to pro
vide the reader with a reasonably complete understanding of
operating and programming principles.
The discussion is arisanged in four basic sections and
an appendix. The first explains the characteristics of the
terminal from both operational andi functional viewpoints.
Controls available to the operator along with basic operating
procedures are covered in the second section. In the third
section, attention focuses on programming; including flow
charts and communication sequences. The reader should pay
considerable attention to Section IV, Programming Aids. Here,
some of the less obvious features are discussed. An appendix
is used to highlight all equipments used in the configuration.
Specifications are given for each equipment, as well as a
listing of available documentation.
