Thisedition applies to TSO Extensions (TSO/E) Release 2, Program Number 5665-285,
and all subsequent releases until otherwiseindicated in new editions or Technical
Newsletters. Changes are madeperiodically to the information herein: beforeusingthis
publication in connection with the operation of IBM systems, consult the latest IBM
Systeml370 Bibliography, GC20-0001, for the editions 'at are applicable and current.

This publication is intended for programmers who design and code CLISTS for
installation-dependent applications. Although the applications will vary from
installation to installation, some possible ones are:
• Extensions to TSO
• Production programs
• Interfaces between an end user and TSO
• Interfaces between an end user and existing applications
To exploit the full capabilities of the CLIST language, a programmer should have
a prerequisite knowledge of TSO and ISPF.
