This game is based on the traditional game of draughts (called checkers in North America). It has 19 different game variations on the cartridge. The game was developed by Carol Shaw, one of the earliest female programmers. Her algorithm used alpha-beta pruning to allow for a good opponent, with only 128 bytes of RAM. The game artwork was produced by Steve Hendricks.
