Description :

Over this Easter holiday and in celebration of the launch of the film 'Ready Player One' (and the fact we supplied lots of retro video games and tech for the making of the film), we'll be running our very own slightly unusual Easter Egg Hunt!

This low in calories and zero sugar event will see a techy take on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. Rather than hunting those terrible chocolatey eggs, we'll be hunting those elusive hidden features in video games and computer software that the programmers hid in there as a secret only they would know.

But it's not only in software ... occasionally they seep out into the physical world too! And at this event you'll discover how ...

We'll be featuring specific Easter eggs as written about in Ernest Cline's 'Ready Player One' book as well as other lesser known ones that will make you smile :)

The museum supplied a huge amount of retro games, hardware and paraphernalia for the film, and if we spot anything of note, we'll have that out on display too, just for added fun! (We haven't even seen it yet!!)

The event runs from 30th March (the day after the release of the film) to 2nd April. Entry is included as part of your standard museum admission.  Booking is not required but you will miss out on our prize draw if you don't!

Ready Player One - Goody Bag Book Online and we will enter you into our free prize draw to win a goody bag of stuff! We will randomly select one lucky person to receive this exciting prize and present it to you when you visit us. Entry closes at 9am on the 30th March ... So book now!!! :)

So go and see the film and then take part in our Easter Egg Hunt to make your Easter holiday a special one!
