Fatal Fury 2 (Bootleg Cart)
The Neo Geo MVS cartridges are designed to be plugged into the arcade system, either by way of a jamma board or the official arcade machine.
The cartridges can be used on the home AES system, if an adapter is used, this can be very benificial as by and large, the MVS carts cost a fraction of the Home system ones, at the expense of not having anything more than a basic cardboard sleeve, as opposed to the large AES cases and coloured sleeves.
Even though MVS carts were significantly cheaper than their AES cousins, it did not stop them being pirated, there are warnings online not to plug these cartridges into a machine.
Fatal Fury 2 on the AES home system cost nearly £400,but for that money, the arcade experience was exactly replicated.
The game is an acclaimed one on one fighter with imaginative characters, and a heavy reliance on combos, a series of strung together fighting moves, devastating to the opposing player.
The game follows the first in the series, by having the players fight on two planes, with one button causing the player to leap between the two.
There is a loose revenge plot to the game.
